Wendy Moshakga: Building Seratego Farms From Zero Through Grit and Vision

Wendy Moshakga is a young, self taught farmer from Moletjie Ga, Rammetloana, in Limpopo. She is the founder and driving force behind Seratego Farms, an emerging agricultural business rooted in Lonsdale, Moletjie, within the Polokwane Municipality. Her journey into farming began in 2021, long before Serage Holdings was officially registered in 2024. After completing her tertiary studies, Wendy struggled to find employment. With limited opportunities available, she made a bold decision to create her own path through farming. She had no start up capital. To raise money, she collected and recycled cans. That income funded her first farming inputs. This marked the beginning of a journey she often describes as moving from nothing toward purpose and progress.
