Love, commitment, and a leap of faith are set to return to television screens as another season of Married at First Sight South Africa prepares to make its comeback in July.
Mzansi Magic has officially announced the highly anticipated third season of Married at First Sight Mzansi, giving viewers another chance to watch complete strangers take one of the biggest risks of their lives in the hope of finding true love.
The popular reality series follows a group of singles who agree to marry partners selected for them by relationship experts. Meeting for the very first time on their wedding day, the couples take a leap of faith in the hope of finding lasting love with a complete stranger.
The new season premieres exclusively on Mzansi Magic on Sunday, 5 July 2026. Viewers can expect a special 90-minute launch episode at 17:30 before the show settles into its weekly slot at 18:00.
As excitement builds, fans can look forward to seeing a fresh group of hopeful singles walk down the aisle and begin their unique journeys. From the emotional wedding ceremonies to the difficult conversations and unexpected challenges that come with married life, the series promises plenty of memorable moments.
The season also welcomes back the panel of experts who guide the couples throughout the experiment. This season’s panel includes relationship expert Thabang Mashigo, relationship coach and officiator Pastor Xolani Hiltana, intimacy expert Dr Mpume Zenda and marriage and family counsellor Bakhe Dlamini, who returns after first appearing in Season 1.
Season 2 introduced viewers to four couples who tied the knot: Nelisa Ntabeni and Themba Khosa, Portia Baloyi and Bongani Luvalo, Palesa Mphaki and Tshepo Miya, as well as Makoto Phumodi and Nkululeko Mahlangu.
While several relationships faced challenges and they separated, one couple has continued to thrive. Today, the only couple still together is Nelisa Ntabeni and Themba Khoza, who frequently share glimpses of their marriage journey on social media.
With a new season around the corner, viewers will once again get a front-row seat to the highs and lows of married life between strangers. The big question remains: will the new couples find their future husband or wife, or will they discover that love is harder to find than they imagined?
As the countdown to season three begins, Mzansi is ready to meet a brand-new group of hopeful romantics willing to put their hearts on the line for a chance at forever.
