Obiflex is bringing buy-now-pay-later to GLP-1 medicines in SA

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) recently cracked down on compounded GLP-1 weight-loss medicines, making it harder for some cash-strapped South Africans to access registered, doctor-prescribed alternatives to Wegovy, Ozempic, and Mounjaro. A new doctor-led health management programme now aims to offer those medicines through a buy-now-pay-later payment structure.
