Kent have signed South African bowler Glenton Stuurman for their first six County Championship matches of the 2026 season.

The 33-year-old will be available for the season opener against Durham on 3 April until the return fixture in May, at which point he will be replaced by Senuran Muthusamy for the remainder of the red-ball season.

Stuurman has taken 21 wickets for Goldrush Boland in his homeland so far this season and has a career average of 24.05 in 82 first-class matches, with 277 wickets.

He has three international caps - two Test matches and one T20 appearance.

"Representing Kent carries a lot of weight, a club with a huge history in the game and a place where a lot of my fellow countrymen have made their names before," he said.

Kent announced the signing of South Africa international Muthusamy on Monday.
