MEC Madoda Sambatha has handed over a tractor and agricultural implements to Ramasimane Kalaote at Syferlaagte near Tigane, providing communal farmers with greater access to mechanisation. The equipment includes a boom sprayer and disc plough, both of which can assist farmers with important activities throughout the production cycle. The machinery will provide shared agricultural services to Seven Seasons Communal Property Association (CPA), Oblate CPA, Thusanang CPA, other CPA members and the broader Tigane community. For farmers who struggle to access privately owned machinery or afford contractor services, shared access to agricultural equipment can make a significant difference to how efficiently they prepare and manage their fields. The intervention is aimed at strengthening local agricultural production while supporting farmers to make more productive use of available land.
