Kaizer Chiefs have called on supporters to secure their tickets early ahead of Sunday’s MTN8 quarter-final clash against Golden Arrows at FNB Stadium.

Amakhosi return to the competition after a two-year absence, having finished third in the Betway Premiership last season to book their place in the 2026 edition of the Wafa Wafa tournament.

Golden Arrows, who ended the league campaign in sixth position, stand between Kaizer Chiefs and a place in the two-legged semi-finals later this month.

R10 million winner’s prize

With a place in the last four at stake, both sides will also be one step closer to lifting the first major trophy of the 2026/27 season and claiming the R10 million winner’s prize.

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that tickets are available for R100 through OpenTickets, with supporters able to purchase them online at www.opentickets.co.za or at Shoprite, Checkers and Usave stores nationwide.

Kaizer Chiefs have encouraged fans to buy their tickets in advance and create a vibrant atmosphere at FNB Stadium as the club begins its quest for MTN8 glory.

The encounter kicks off at 18:00 on Sunday, 9 August which coincides with Women’s Day in South Africa.

With Monday being a public holiday, the evening kick-off is expected to benefit travelling supporters making the trip to Johannesburg.

Fernando Da Cruz’s side heads into the knockout clash full of confidence after opening their 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign with an impressive 3-1 victory over Kruger United and will be hoping to carry that momentum into their first cup assignment of the season.
