Soweto giants Orlando Pirates are already planning several key moves for the next transfer window.

A couple of players are facing possible departures out of Mayfair, while others are signed to fill the gaps.

As reported on The South African, the Buccaneers have identified Wandile Dube as one of their primary targets.

REPORT: PIRATES SET TO PART WAYS WITH SHANDU

Bandile Shandu is the latest Orlando Pirates player facing an exit.

According to Soccer Laduma, Shandu’s agent has stated that they are looking for a new club for the experienced defender.

“We were talking to Pirates about how they see him. But we’ve now got to open the market, which we’ve started doing. The likelihood is that we will be looking at a new club for him, but we’ve left the door open for Orlando Pirates,” Mike Makaab told the publication.

Whether it’s a loan move or a permanent deal remains to be seen. However, as things stand, his agent Makaab is leaning towards looking for a new club.

It must be noted that the door has been left open for Orlando Pirates.

Meaning, Makaab and Shandu are open to a new deal. So, the ball is in Orlando Pirates’ court, but Makaab wants what is best for his player, who is struggling for regular playing time under coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.

According to Transfermarkt’s latest player evaluations, Shandu is worth €450 000 (R8.5 million).

BUCS MANAGEMENT PLANNING AHEAD

As mentioned, Bucs management are keeping a close eye on Wandile Duba. However, he is not the only player that the Soweto giants are planning on signing.

With the PSL January transfer window having just closed, Orlando Pirates are already planning several big moves at the end of the season.

Bucs have also identified Siyanda Ndlovu from Golden Arrows as another potential target.
