US Senate passes homeland security funding law, but blocks ICE

The US Senate passed legislation early on Friday that would finance most of the Department of Homeland Security, but withhold funds from ICE and part of Customs and Border Protection, Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer’s office said in a statement.
