Workshop Highlights Opportunities for Small-Scale Aquaculture in South Africa

Today, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), together with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD), hosted a workshop to strengthen South Africa’s aquaculture and inland fisheries sector. Attendees included farmers, co-operatives, INMED, Joburg Zoo, NGOs, and local municipalities.
