Manchester City cut Arsenal’s lead to two points with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday, keeping the Premier League title race alive with two games to go in the run-in.

Pep Guardiola rotated heavily, making six changes from the weekend; and his second string side delivered.

Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute after a clever Phil Foden backheel, and Omar Marmoush made it 2-0 eight minutes later from another Foden assist.

Savinho added a late third after a surging run and pass from Rayan Cherki to seal the points at a damp Etihad.

The result moves City to 77 points, one goal difference better than Arsenal and with seven more goals scored.

Arsenal stay top after beating West Ham 1-0 on Sunday, helped when a stoppage-time Hammers equaliser was ruled out by VAR.

Guardiola’s side now face Chelsea in Saturday’s FA Cup final before turning back to the league.

If Arsenal beat relegated Burnley on Monday, City must win at Bournemouth the next day to stay in contention.

The final day will then see Arsenal at Palace and City hosting Aston Villa.

In the battle for European places, Liverpool only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea before Aston Villa drew 2-2 with Bournemouth.

Spurs got a point at Leeds as they continue their battle for survival, with the North London outfit now two points clear of 18th place currently occupied by West Ham.
