Destiny 2 is was supposed to get a major new expansion this summer. Instead, it’s getting its final live-service update nearly a decade after launching. Bungie confirmed that the looter shooter will be getting a Monument of Triumph content update free to all players on June 9, 2026. The game will remain online and playable but development will cease.
