The Department, under the leadership of MEC Lebogang Motlhaping together with Head of Department Mr Zolile Monakali, began the day with an early morning briefing focused on key operational engagements planned for Upington and the wider ZF Mgcawu District. The briefing set a clear direction for the day and aligned all teams on service delivery priorities and field activities. It emphasized the importance of strengthening departmental operations across the district while ensuring that stakeholder engagement remains a central focus. The leadership team also highlighted the need to assess strategic agricultural infrastructure that supports long term development in the region. This preparation ensured that all planned visits and meetings were structured, coordinated, and aligned with departmental goals.
