Hawaii Island Braces for Possible Flooding Rain as Former Depression 15-E Nears Redevelopment

The remnants of former Tropical Depression Fifteen-E are showing signs of organization about 800 miles southeast of Hawaii Island, and forecasters expect a tropical depression to form south or southeast of the islands by the middle to latter part of the week. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center's tropical weather outlook said environmental conditions were forecast to become more conducive for development as the system moves generally westward.
