Sean Summers still has work to do at Pick n Pay. A new trading update from the South African retailer showed its core supermarket business barely growing in the 20 weeks to July 19, with the group leaning on its discount chain Boxer to carry the top line while a contested restructuring hangs over the turnaround the chief executive is trying to deliver.
