Energy management training for irrigation schemes is underway in Ku-Gompo City, with farmers gaining practical knowledge on how to understand, monitor and improve energy use in their agricultural operations. The three-day training focuses on helping farmers make better use of energy data while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and manage operating costs. On the second day, participants actively engaged with topics including energy data collection, verification and analysis. They also learned about energy baselines and basic Energy Performance Indicators, known as EnPIs. The training provides farmers with knowledge that can support more informed decisions about irrigation systems and energy consumption.
