The Gunners were 4-1 victors in Sunday’s North London derby, helping them to a five point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
In another enthralling weekend of football in England, the race for the Uefa Champions League places heated up while the title race saw another chapter written.
Aston Villa and Chelsea were both held to 1-1 draws at home to Leeds and Burnley on Saturday, leaving Liverpool and Manchester United licking their lips.
The Reds left it late, but got the job done at Nottingham Forest after Alexis Mac Allister’s stoppage time winner. The result means Arne Slot’s side are now level on points with Chelsea and United.
The Red Devils will face Everton on Monday night football.
At the top of the pile, Manchester City got their three points with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United — leaving all eyes on the North London derby.
Arsenal would turn up against their neighbourhood foes, putting four goals past struggling Spurs.
Eberechi Eze and Victor Gyokeres each netted twice leaving Tottenham just four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Gunners next take on Chelsea at the Emirates and will hope to build on this result in their run-in towards a trip to Manchester City in April.
