Author and MC Rachel Kolisi is inviting audiences into one of the most personal chapters of her life through her upcoming The Rachel Kolisi Falling Forward Official Documentary Screening Experience.
The documentary, titled Falling Forward, offers an intimate and deeply personal look at Rachel’s journey through some of the defining seasons of her life. The film explores themes including identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage, faith, and rediscovery.
More than just a documentary screening, Falling Forward has been described as a powerful female-led event experience designed to inspire, connect, and encourage women from all walks of life. Through honesty and vulnerability, Rachel reflects on the moments that have shaped her, the lessons she has learned, and the resilience required to keep moving forward when life does not unfold as planned.
The documentary promises to give audiences a closer look at Rachel’s personal experiences and the challenges she has faced along the way. By sharing her story, she hopes to encourage others who may be navigating their own journeys of growth, healing, and self-discovery.
Following each screening, attendees will also have the opportunity to hear directly from Rachel during a live fireside conversation. During the session, she will unpack the themes explored in the documentary and share insights on resilience, purpose, faith, and moving forward.
The Falling Forward Official Screening Experience will travel across several cities and provinces, giving audiences around Southern Africa a chance to be part of the event.
The tour will officially begin in Pretoria on 12 August 2026 at 17:30. It will then head to Cape Town on 15 August, with two sessions scheduled at 12:00 and 17:30.
Johannesburg audiences can attend the screening on 19 August at 17:30, followed by George on 26 August and Plettenberg Bay on 27 August.
The tour will continue to Durban on 10 September before making its way to Windhoek on 13 September. The final stops include East London on 22 September and Gqeberha on 24 September.
With its focus on personal growth, faith, courage, and resilience, Falling Forward is set to be more than a film screening. It promises to be a meaningful experience where women can connect, reflect, and be inspired by Rachel Kolisi’s story.
