THE FUSE

The Thembisile Hani Local Municipality successfully hosted its inaugural Agriculture Summit at Thembalethu Community Hall in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs. The summit brought together government departments, farmers, retailers and support institutions to discuss practical ways to strengthen and sustain local agriculture. The event reflected growing efforts to improve food production, expand market access and support small and emerging farmers within the district. Representatives from the Department of Land Reform and Rural Development also attended the gathering to engage with agricultural stakeholders. The summit created a valuable platform for dialogue and collaboration around the future of agriculture in the region.
