Former Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 housemate Bazozwa Ilano is celebrating a big milestone after buying her very first apartment. The reality TV star recently shared the exciting news with her followers on social media, giving fans a glimpse into her life after leaving the popular show.
Ilano, whose real name is Langelihle Gumede, became known to viewers during her time on Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, also known as Bazozwa. She was evicted from the house on Sunday, March 1, 2026, but it seems life outside the reality show has brought new opportunities and fresh beginnings for the young star.
Taking to Instagram, Ilano opened up about her new living situation and the reality of life after the show. She shared a video from inside her new apartment while reflecting on her journey since leaving the house.
“This is the reality after the house. I’ve just moved into this apartment. Here’s the reality after the house, you have no one,” she said in the video.
Ilano also revealed that before moving into her own place, she had been staying with activist and reality TV personality Yaya Mavundla.
“Shout out to Yaya Mavundla I had been living with her, but today I am officially out!” she shared, thanking her for the support during that period.
The reality star also explained that she is ready to start a new chapter in her life and leave the past behind.
“Remember guys since I left the house all the thing that I had, like my furniture, my everything at large. I don’t want to go back to that. I’m out with the old and in with the new,” Ilano added.
Fans and followers quickly filled the comments section with congratulatory messages, praising the star for reaching such a major milestone.
Interestingly, Ilano is not the only former housemate from the Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 Bazozwa house who has recently made a big purchase. Fellow contestant Trixie also shared exciting news after buying a brand new car.
Trixie recently showed off her new Volkswagen Polo on social media. Posting pictures of herself proudly sitting behind the wheel, she wrote, “Bossed up, unbothered, and behind the wheel like I own the road.”
With new homes, cars, and opportunities, it looks like several former Big Brother Mzansi stars are enjoying life after the show and building new paths for themselves.
