WhatsApp exchanges between Sgt. Fannie Nkosi, suspended Tshwane CFO Gareth Mnisi, and suspended TMPD Deputy Police Chief, Umashi Dhlamini, suggest that Gubis85 Solutions was not on the original list of "preferred bidders" in a major security tender. The company, which is linked to Mandla Mgcina*, the nephew of taxi boss, Joe Sibanyoni, would later be succesful in the TMPD 01 bid. This after they turned to Dhlamini, and Dhlamini referred them to the CFO in a text to alleged middleman, Sgt. Fannie Nkosi. SABC News Senior Reporter Canny Maphanga filed this report.
