Proverb Celebrates Completing His MBA

South African media personality and television presenter Proverb is celebrating a proud academic milestone after completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA). The star recently shared the exciting news with his followers on Instagram, revealing that he has officially finished the demanding degree after enrolling at Regenesys Business School in January 2024.
Known for his work in television and radio, Proverb has always shown that he values education and personal growth. His latest achievement is another example of his dedication to improving himself and expanding his knowledge beyond the entertainment industry.
Taking to Instagram, the media personality shared a heartfelt message reflecting on his academic journey and the challenges he faced along the way. He admitted that the final stage of the programme was not easy, but he pushed through and successfully completed it.
“My last assignment tried to trip me at the end, but the final exam carried me over the finish line. My heart is full. Grateful to my family, colleagues, lecturers, supervisors & the many who supported me quietly behind the scenes. MBA officially done. Graduation loading. Deeply thankful. On to the next chapter,” he wrote.
The announcement quickly attracted many congratulatory messages from fans, friends and fellow celebrities who were proud of his accomplishment. Many supporters praised him for proving that it is possible to chase both career success and education at the same time.
Businesswoman and former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo was among those who celebrated the achievement. She commented, “Congratulations my brother. Upwards and onwards.”
Actress Lerato Mvelase also showed her support in the comments, writing, “Yaaaas well done.”
Entrepreneur and media personality DJ Sbu joined in the celebrations as well, commenting, “Congratulations my brother onwards and upwards.”
This is not the first time Proverb has celebrated an academic milestone with Regenesys Business School. In May 2024, he proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. At the time, he shared his gratitude to the institution for supporting him throughout his studies.
“My deepest gratitude to @regenesys_sa for the unwavering support that saw me complete and graduate with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, while I embark on my MBA. Thank you additionally for allowing me the honor of delivering the graduation speech and for truly awakening my potential,” he wrote.
