It’s good news for SASSA Children’s Grants in August 2026, as the agency returns to a four-week cycle. After a month where they pushed back payments to suit the calendar, beneficiaries of all forms of Childcare Grants can now diarise Thursday 6 August 2026 for the next payment. A reminder that the SASSA Child Support Grant pays R580 per month, up by R20 from R560 back in April 2026. It is distributed to more than 13-million homes in South Africa.
