Katsande resigned as the head coach of Grand Legacy FC in July after just two months in charge.

While the club initially announced his immediate departure was due to ‘personal reasons’ to pursue a coaching course, Katsande later stated he felt the squad was unbalanced.

According to Soccer24 Zimbabwe, Katsande is linked to a dramatic twist surrounding the proposed loan move of four CAPS United players to Grand Legacy FC.

Katsande reportedly wants players at another club

According to Soccer24 Zimbabwe, sources claim Katsande wants the four players to join Oden FC, where he is reportedly set to be unveiled.

However, the report says the players’ clearance documents had already been sent by CAPS United to Grand Legacy FC.

The players reportedly began training with Grand Legacy last week before allegedly failing to report for training this week.

Clubs reportedly trying to resolve the situation

Soccer24 Zimbabwe further reported that the latest developments have left officials from both CAPS United and Grand Legacy FC attempting to resolve the matter.

Neither Katsande nor the clubs involved had publicly commented on the reports at the time of publication.

The situation is expected to develop further as the parties involved seek a resolution to the reported transfer dispute.

While local rumors heavily linked him to a swift move to Oden FC alongside the missing CAPS United players, The Herald Online reports that Katsande is actively weighing his options.

He acknowledged that talks with multiple clubs are ongoing but has kept his next destination secret, though premier league outfit Simba Bhora and Eastern Region side GreenFuel have both expressed strong interest.
