Kenyan steel and cement tycoon Narendra Raval has set Tuesday, Oct. 27, as the date for the official groundbreaking of his Devki Group's 50 billion-shilling ($385 million) clinker and cement plant in Kitui County, with President William Ruto expected to lead the ceremony.
