(The Post News) – South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan received visible support in court as popular superfan Joy Chauke popularly known as Mama Joy showed up during his latest legal appearance linked to alleged financial misconduct.

Jordaan’s Court Appearance in Palm Ridge

Jordaan, 73, appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court alongside three co-accused on fraud charges involving approximately R1.3 million in funds from the SAFA. The money is alleged to have been misused between 2015 and 2016 for payments to a company linked to Trevor Neethling.

The proceedings focused mainly on procedural matters, with the case postponed to 27 May. All accused remain out on R20,000 bail and have denied any wrongdoing.
