High Court Affirms South Africa’s Coordinated Response to Foot-and-Mouth Disease

The Minister of Agriculture, John Steenhuisen, has welcomed the outcome in the Gauteng Division of the High Court, which confirmed the Department of Agriculture’s lawful authority to manage South Africa’s response to Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD).
