The 22-year-old has left Sundowns for a new challenge in Denmark after completing his move to FC Copenhagen. The Danish giants confirmed his arrival on a four-year contract.

A CHAPTER AFTER MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
Maseko described his time at Mamelodi Sundowns as a chapter he will always remember. “Thank you Mamelodi Sundowns for the memories..the lessons..the opportunities and for giving me a place I could call home.”
The winger joined Sundowns after developing at SuperSport United. He quickly made an impact at Chloorkop, especially during the club’s historic African Football League campaign in 2023.
Maseko scored against Al Ahly in the semi-final and went on to win the competition’s individual player and top-scorer awards. His performances helped establish him as one of South Africa’s most exciting young attackers.
He also became a Bafana Bafana international and recently scored the winning goal against South Korea at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
