JSC recommends Aubrey Ledwaba for promotion after grilling on bribery claims

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has recommended Gauteng High Court Deputy Judge President Aubrey Ledwaba for the position of Judge President. If confirmed, this would fill a vacancy left by the previous Judge President, Dunstan Mlambo, who was appointed Deputy Chief Justice in July 2025.
