Reality TV star Nozipho Ntshangase from The Mommy Club has shared a new update with her followers after having a mini face lift. The reality TV star gave fans a look at her recovery journey 10 days after undergoing the cosmetic procedure.
Nozipho posted a video showing how her face looks after the surgery. She also opened up about her recovery, saying it has been much easier than she expected. In her Instagram post, she shared her experience from the day she left the hospital until Day 10.
She wrote, “Recovery diary
From the day I left the hospital to day 10
Surprisingly, the pain wasn’t too bad. I stayed on sleeping tablets for the first four nights to keep myself comfortable, but by Day 6 l was already taking fewer painkillers.
What really surprised me was how minimal the swelling and bruising were. Recovery has honestly been much smoother than I expected.
By Day 7, I started red light therapy at @luxclinicza (I’ll be sharing that experience soon go), and by Day 10, my stitches were out and I was even able to attend an event.
I’ve used a filter in the event video (I was still conscious of the swelling) because I’m still not allowed to wear makeup just yet, but I’m so happy with how my recovery is going. One day at a time, and we’re getting there.”
Her update gave fans an honest look at the healing process. Although she admitted she was still aware of the swelling, she shared that she was happy with her progress. She also revealed that she has already returned to attending events, even though she is still recovering.
The reality TV star has been open about her cosmetic surgery journey and the reasons behind her decisions. Just two weeks ago, Nozipho reflected on another life-changing procedure she had in the past.
She explained that her previous surgery was about much more than changing the way she looked. It also helped her feel more confident and comfortable in herself.
She wrote, “When my brilliant surgeon and I meet up… it’s never over coffee. Last year, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life and had an abdominoplasty. It gave me so much more than a physical transformation. it gave me confidence, comfort, and a fresh start in ways I never expected. Now we’re back for another chapter.”
