Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2026 Open for Entries Across All Sectors. Organisations across Africa are being invited to submit entries for the 2026 Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards as the continent’s premier programme recognising supply chain leadership and innovation opens for submissions this year.
Now in its fifth year the awards recognise organisations working to improve efficiency resilience and competitiveness across supply chains while also supporting sustainability and humanitarian impact. With recent disruptions exposing vulnerabilities in global supply networks and drawing attention to Africa’s role in international trade organisers say the 2026 programme carries particular significance.
ASCEA director Liesl De Wet said supply chains play a central role in economic growth and community wellbeing. She noted they influence business performance social stability and environmental stewardship. According to De Wet the awards aim to recognise organisations setting new standards in supply chain management across Africa.
Entries are open to organisations of all sizes and sectors operating within Africa. The awards cover the full supply chain value chain including manufacturing distribution procurement transport and warehousing. Additional categories recognise sustainable practices humanitarian and health supply chains technology adoption and workforce development.
Organisers say participation offers more than recognition. Entrants can benchmark their operations against industry best practice while increasing visibility among peers clients and sector leaders. The programme also provides structured feedback to support organisational learning and improvement.
All submissions are evaluated through a structured judging process conducted by experienced professionals from logistics manufacturing retail and academia. Each entry is assessed against defined criteria designed to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the evaluation process.
De Wet said feedback from the judging panel is a key benefit for participants. She explained that judges provide guidance to help entrants strengthen their submissions and present their work effectively. Collectively the judging panel brings more than 200 years of combined experience.
Entries close on 30 April 2026 and the programme will culminate in an awards dinner scheduled for 19 August 2026. Further information including sponsorship opportunities and submission details is available online.
