The Lindsay Clancy case recently ended in a mistrial where 11 jurors believed that she should be acquitted due to insanity based on the defense of postpartumpsychosis. Therefore, with the jury deadlocked, Judge Sullivan declared a mistrial. The prosecution has yet to announce whether it will retry the case and there could be a new trial with a different jury. We will have to wait and see.
