Imagine a world in which the current United Nations is dead and replaced by a new UN headed by Donald Trump.

Mr. Trump, as the chairman, is all-powerful in this new UN. All exclusive and final authority belongs to him. He can propose and enact resolutions or initiatives on its behalf without consulting member states.

He is the same Trump who, just a few days ago, bluntly stated that international law does not matter to him. He alone decides what is wrong and what is right. Only his personal morality can restrain him from taking any action.

He is the same Trump who began 2026 by flagrantly violating the sovereignty and right to self-determination of a neighbouring country, Venezuela. He literally kidnapped its president.

He is the same Trump who has threatened South American nations with a Venezuela-like fate if they fail to follow his instructions or toe his line in support of his “Donroe” doctrine.

He is the same Trump who has explicitly stated that he does not want to help restore peace in the world anymore. It is simply because he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
