Sheer City delivered a dazzling inaugural event in Cape Town – The Mother City sparkled, dazzled and danced. Sheer City concluded this weekend as a fully attended, inner-city event. Successfully activating Cape Town’s central precinct through a carefully managed, multi-venue urban festival format. The event came to life across select venues. Harringtons, District, SurfaRosa, and The Electric. It also extended into the City Bowl fringe at Texas. The festival celebrates Cape Town’s creative pulse and its long, storied relationship with LGBTQ+ culture, merging artistry, sound, movement and style.
