Ok so remember that story where a student snitched on her professor for teaching about “gender ideology”?

She claimed her professor, Melissa McCoul, was promoting “gender ideology” and that one of Trump’s executive orders made it illegal to do so. She then confronted the president of Texas A&M, who refused to fire the professor.

So she gave recordings of both confrontations to Texas State Representative Brian Harrison, who then posted both it to his Twitter.

Harrison’s post on Twitter whipped up enough right-wing outrage to force the president of A&M to fire the professor.

After all the right-wing outrage, a new policy was made to stop any courses “advocating race or gender ideology, or topics related to sexual orientation or gender identity” unless shown to serve a necessary educational purpose.

Two faculty boards found Professor McCoul was innocent under this new policy.

The interim president of Texas A&M dodged the decision, leaving it to the university system. The vice chancellor for academic affairs drafted a memo saying McCoul…
