OUTA warns whistleblowers still paying heavy price for exposing corruption

South Africa’s fight against corruption cannot succeed without stronger protection for whistleblowers, according to the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA), which has warned that the country’s proposed Protected Disclosures Amendment Bill still leaves many people exposed to serious risks after reporting wrongdoing.
