Young Stunna to Headline the 2026 BAL Opening Night at SunBet Arena

The Basketball Africa League (BAL) has unveiled a lineup of artists and entertainers who will headline halftime performances during the Kalahari Conference group phase at SunBet Arena in Pretoria from March 27 to April 5, 2026. The 2026 BAL Kalahari Conference tickets are available now on Ticketmaster.co.za.
Kicking things off on Friday, 27 March, Young Stunna will headline the opening ceremony with a performance at 6:45 p.m. Later that evening, a high-energy skipping act by Everywhen Experiences will entertain the crowd during halftime.
On Saturday, 28 March, fans can look forward to a vibrant dance showcase by CPC during the afternoon games, followed by more halftime entertainment in the evening.
The performances continue on Tuesday, 31 March, with Usimamane taking the stage to keep the crowd hyped during halftime.
On Wednesday, 1 April, Everywhen Experiences returns with an exciting mix of stilts, unicycle tricks, and ball juggling. Later that evening, Small god will deliver a lively halftime performance.
Friday, 3 April brings even more thrills, with a mini trampoline act by Everywhen Experiences, followed by a performance from Scotts Maphuma.
The excitement continues on Saturday, 4 April, as Everywhen Experiences presents a stunning acrobatics and aerial silks show. Later, amapiano star Kamo Mphela will take to the stage with her signature high-energy moves.
Closing off the weekend on Sunday, 5 April, audiences will be treated to a breathtaking perch pole and aerial sphere act by Everywhen Experiences. The final musical performance will come from award-winning rapper Nasty C, who is set to end the event on a high note.
In addition, the BAL Fan Zone at SunBet Arena will offer a vibrant and engaging experience for all attendees with a variety of lifestyle and entertainment options, including official BAL merchandise, food and beverage stands, DJ performances, and more.
The BAL, a collaboration between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and NBA Africa, is a professional league featuring 12 club teams from across Africa that will tip off its sixth season in March 2026.
The conference group phase will be held in South Africa (Kalahari Conference, 27 March-5 April), Morocco (Sahara Conference, 24 April-3 May) and the top eight teams will qualify for the Playoffs in Kigali from Friday, May 22 – May 31
