MaXhosa Africa: Izihlwele Zivumile – Paris Fashion Week 2026

On 28 September, MaXhosa Africa opens the Paris womenswear season with its first full runway show on the official calendar. It is the first South African house to be given that slot. The theme, Izihlwele Zivumile, translates as “the ancestors have approved”, and it presents the moment as a question of lineage as much as fashion.
