Reality TV star and entrepreneur Angel Ndlela is stepping into the beauty business with the launch of her own skincare line, Rich Skin. The Real Housewives of Durban star recently shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram, where she opened up about the deeply personal inspiration behind the brand.
In a heartfelt video posted on her social media page, Angel explained that the skincare range was created in honour of her mother, Nomusa Ndlela. She also shared how her mother’s skin journey played a major role in inspiring the brand.
She said, “Rich Skin is a brand that I created in tribute of my wonderful mother, Nomusa Ndlela. After presenting the brand to her I realised that it helped with her flaky skin and her very dehydrated skin having contracted Vitiligo. While it doesn’t necessarily help cure Vitiligo because it’s an incurable disease. I realised that she felt more confident because the condition and the health of her skin improved drastically.”
The reality TV star also used the video to tell the story behind the creation of Rich Skin and how the brand first started. Angel’s message focused on confidence, self-love and healthy skin rather than unrealistic beauty standards.
In the caption accompanying the video, Angel proudly introduced the brand to her followers. She wrote, “Allow me to officially present to you my baby RICH SKIN by @rich_collect
