Reality TV star Beverly Steyn has publicly responded to Nonku Williams following Williams’ recent apology, making it clear that while she has accepted the apology, the legal process will still move forward.

Nonku Williams recently released a heartfelt public statement addressing the ongoing situation and issued an apology to Steyn. The apology came after weeks of public discussion surrounding their fallout, which Steyn says is linked to alleged financial exploitation.

According to Steyn, the matter involves money Williams allegedly borrowed from her under a signed agreement. Speaking to News24, Steyn claimed that Williams borrowed a large sum of money but failed to repay it by the agreed deadline. She explained that after months of trying to recover the money without receiving any response, she was left with no choice but to hand the issue over to her legal team.

On Thursday, 5 February 2026, Steyn took to Instagram to address the situation directly. In the caption of her post, she wrote, “To Nonku…. I have accepted your apology but my legal team is moving forward. Everything I have stated above is factual, I have receipts.”

Steyn also shared several slides on her Instagram, where she went into detail about why she chose to speak out publicly. In one of the slides, she said, “THANK YOU. I just want to thank Nonku Williams for her apology and while she expressed how damaging this has been publicly, I need to express why I did this publicly…”

She then outlined what happened after the agreement expired, listing a series of events that she says deeply hurt her and led to the breakdown of their friendship.

According to Steyn, “After the agreement expired.

1. You acknowledged the debt but refused to give me a payback date.

2. You promised that if your money was late, you would start selling your Cartier bracelets, Gucci bags etc to show your commitment towards resolving this issue

3. It hurt me that you then told me we should put our friendship on hold until all the money has been paid back.

4. You then ghosted me and I was in tears when I found out you borrowed from others then ghosted them.

5. After 6 months I privately sent legal correspondence you ignored.

6. If I had not gone public would you have forever ignored me and my legal team?

7. I went to socials as a last resort in order to get your attention and apologies to you & the public.

8. My reason for publishing was to break the pattern that has repeatedly itself over and over again.

9. Thank you to those who support me and those who support Nonku.

10. I hold no grudges to those who post nasty comments as you have have no understanding of the truly sad breakdown of this friendship.”
