All people are born different…
All people live different……
All people end their lives differently…
But, many people end up forgetting that.
Society forgets that.
Society shows that to be its part, you would have to fit in.
You would have to be like other people.
You would have to show that you are included.
And if you don’t feel like doing that, it would exclude you. It would make you feel like you don’t belong.
Belonging is the most important thing in the world. The thing is, we are humans, Homo sapiens, social animals…..
This basically means that we have to learn to adjust in society.
But, sometimes I don’t feel that way.

Sometimes, I am just happy with who I am, even if society doesn’t like that.
Sometimes, I do what I think is right even when society thinks the opposite.
Sometimes, I have fun my own way.
But, some people try to change that. They don’t like the fact that I am different. They don’t understand that I have my own aptitude, my own way of thinking, my own way to deal with life.
Every other day, you would hear speeches and talks on diversity and respect and acceptance.
Every other day, people campaign for equal rights and equal opportunities.
It is the 21st century. Humans have inhabited this world for such a long time, but we still haven’t learned the true meaning of living in a society.
Why haven’t we learned to accept others for who they are?
Why do we try to change what other people do in their own special way?
Why do we not understand the fact that it is not always “outgoing” people who actually bring change?
Isn’t it always those who are different who change the world?
But, then why do we all try to change the people who are different, to become like everyone else just so they could belong?
How do you think we could change that?
