I’m 16 and I’m Thinking in Decades

Most people my age are thinking about weekends, trends, and quick wins.

I’m thinking about systems, leverage, and what Africa could look like 20–30 years from now.

This isn’t because I’m special.
It’s because I realized something early:
Short-term thinking is the most expensive mistake you can make.

I don’t want to “hustle,” I want to build.

The internet glorifies hustle — work harder, sleep less, grind more.
But hustle without direction is just motion.
I’m more interested in:

  • Building skills that compound.
  • Creating systems that work without me.
  • Using technology as leverage, not noise

Not for attention — but for clarity.
Leverage changes everything
Hard work matters. But leverage multiplies hard work.
Leverage comes in different forms:

  • Code: one person builds, millions use.
  • Media: one idea reaches thousands.
  • Capital: money working while you sleep.
  • People: teams scaling outcomes
Most teenagers are told to work harder.

Very few are taught to work smarter.

I’m learning to do both.

Why Africa matters to me?

Africa is not poor.

Africa is underbuilt.

We don’t lack talent. We lack systems.

Slow portals, broken infrastructure, inefficient institutions — these aren’t “normal.” They’re opportunities disguised as problems.

I don’t want to complain about them. I want to fix them.

Technology is one of the most powerful tools we have to leapfrog decades of stagnation — if it’s built intentionally.

Faith, discipline, and long-term vision.

My faith teaches me responsibility, discipline, and accountability.

Not performative motivation. Not empty quotes.

Real responsibility:

  • Build value
  • Serve people.
  • Think beyond yourself

Success without principles collapses.

Growth without discipline doesn’t last.
What I’m building right now
I’m early. Very early.

I’m learning. I’m experimenting.

I’m making mistakes.

I’m building:

  • Technical skills
  • A software-focused business
  • A personal body of thinking through writing.

Nothing here is a highlight reel.

This is the foundation stage.

Why I’m writing publicly
I’m not writing because I’ve “made it.”

I’m writing because thinking out loud:

  • Sharpens ideas
  • Attracts the right people
  • Documents growth over time

This page will be a record of:

  • What I’m learning
  • What I’m building
  • How my thinking evolves

Some ideas will age well. Some will be wrong.

That’s part of the process.

If you’re reading this
You don’t need to be older to think long-term.

You don’t need permission to start. You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You just need:

  • Curiosity
  • Discipline
  • Patience

This is the beginning, not the highlight.

I’m thinking in decades.
