Over the last several days, there has been considerable discourse online after some words from Hasan Piker during an interview in which he talked about the murder of United Health CEO Brian Thompson. Many people will no doubt be familiar with this case, but Piker’s words represented a perspective that seems to have both resonated with and angered many people. To quote Piker directly, he said that Thompson was “engaging in a tremendous amount of social murder”.
