​The World Economic Forum (WEF) says women spend 25% more of their lives with health issues or disabilities than men, causing a global loss of 75 million years of life. It adds that improving women’s health outcomes could boost the global economy by at least $1trn annually by 2040 by spurring labour participation and productivity.
