It’s not always easy to comprehend how the seemingly innocuous and immaterial technologies we use all day, every-day consume physical energy and deplete natural resources. Rapidly evolving digital paradigms like AI have a massive, if displaced and intangible, carbon foot-print. Why not shift the narrative and put the environmentally harmful discharge of advanced machinery to some other, secondary use? That, at least.
