The pandemic brought young adults home to parents—millions of them. Some stayed, while many forged out on their own when it was safe to do so. Once again, the number of young adults between the ages of 24 and 35 returning to their childhood bedrooms is growing. Currently, the migration home is most noticeable among recent college grads who are having difficulty finding jobs they love or are trained for and affording rent to live independently.
