As lights beam down on the stage of the opening ceremony of Final Fantasy Fan Fest in Berlin, Final Fantasy 14’s director, Naoki ‘Yoshi-P’ Yoshida steps out wearing a full set of armour from the game’s new job, Bastion. It’s a hulking set, complete with a huge breastplate, pauldrons, a fur-lined cloak, and two massive shields on each arm equipped with twin cannons.
