Jannie Mouton's R7.2 billion ($450 million) plan to buy out Curro Holdings and convert South Africa's largest private school group into a charity is now the subject of a formal insider trading investigation, after the Financial Sector Conduct Authority escalated what had been a preliminary assessment.
