SA surfer Luke Thompson will be joining Jordy Smith as the second saffa with a permanent spot on the WSL Championship Tour (CT) in 2026. Better still, the 22-year old gets to enjoy a full season at the highest level. Because, for this first time in many years, there is no mid-season cut for competitors. That means the young Durbanite will surf all twelve events this season.
