The U.S. Forest Service published eleven separate recreation fee proposals in a single day, a filing volume that would ordinarily be spread across weeks or months. The notices cover new charges at waterfall trailheads outside San Diego, campgrounds in eastern Oregon, cabin rentals in Utah, a campground in Vermont, a coastal day-use site on the Oregon coast, and pass options in Puerto Rico. All eleven were signed by the same official, Associate Deputy Chief for Recreation and Heritage Gordon Blum, and all were filed for public inspection on the same morning.
