Mzwandile Stick became acquainted with rugby when he was still in primary school in the township of New Brighton in the Eastern Cape. Rugby was not his first choice, but one of his teachers – Mavuso Mafu – steered him towards the sport. Now Stick is one of the most respected names, not just in South African rugby, but globally.
